Dr. Frank Imbarrato is a board-certified family physician licensed in the states of SC and NY. Upon completing his Family Medicine residency in Williamsport, PA, he established a private practice in the Hudson Valley, NY, where he co-founded Horizon Family Medical Group. Dr. Imbarrato’s family practice included wide-ranging office-based family medicine, full-scale inpatient hospital services, and extensive care for the elderly in long-term care facilities. He volunteered extensively, including serving as volunteer medical director of a Pregnancy Resource Center for 20 years.
Dr. Imbarrato and his wife, Karen, relocated to Hilton Head Island in 2013 after 32 years in New York. Currently practicing at Main Street Medical, he is thankful to have joined Dr. Joel Johnson and his healthcare team in serving the local community.
Dr. Imbarrato enjoys the privilege of serving in a wonderful clinic setting those who have both primary care and urgent care needs. He approaches each patient as an individual and holistically, based on their needs, concerns, and personal healthcare issues. He also volunteers locally at Volunteers in Medicine, a free clinic.
